Busy weekend.

This is our schedule for the weekend:

Friday night - Youth breakup gala dinner (dressing up all pretty-like and eating yummy food)

Saturday morning - Either Youth music team breakup breakfast at the park, or swapping our room into the spare room so we can have air-conitioning (our window air-conditioning unit doesn't fit into our current room, which has a sliding door instead of a window)

Saturday afternoon - Christmas Carols practice (I'm a singer, and my husband is the assistant stage manager)

Sunday morning - Church (early start because I'm on singers)

Sunday lunch - Hubby's work Christmas party, goes from 11am (have to go there straight from church) to 4pm

Sunday night - Christmas Carols (get there at 5pm)

Monday night - Husband has the Guy's ministry leadership breakup, although I'll be at home, so not really busy for me

Tuesday night - My old work's Christmas party, which I was surprised to be invited to (they even looked up my new address and everything)

Then everything starts to slow down again... no more Youth, no more music practice... I can imagine us getting out lots and lots of DVDs. I should probably subscribe to QuickFlix or something. The difficulty with that is, you can't decide to hire a DVD on the spur of the moment, you have to plan it at least days in advance, time for it to be available and come in the mail. So maybe we'll just hire heaps of weekly DVDs on $1 Tuesday.

We have a leak under our kitchen sink today. Water's actually spraying out, which isn't too good! So we've turned the water supply off, and are now waiting for the plumber to call and tell us he's coming in to fix it. I've been washing my hands using a jug of water all day. And I can't wash Grace's used nappies (The washing tub is filled with soaking nappies). And I can't wash the dishes, although there are only a few dishes there so that's not really an issue.

We have the Sims 2: Open For Business! It is good. Almost all of my to-do list today involves water in some way, so I haven't been able to do much while Grace is asleep, except for sleep and play Sims. I own a toy shop. Well, not me personally. Viola London, my Sim. Yay.
